Chris Vaughn

An Upstate native, Chris moved to the Lowcountry in 1996 to join Westvaco as a District Forester. Over the next 20 years, he worked for some of the most recognizable names in conservation: Ducks Unlimited, The Nature Conservancy, and Lowcountry Land Trust; and gained valuable experience in real estate, philanthropy, and land management. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science from Lander College and a Master of Science from Clemson University. He serves as a commissioner on the Land Trust Alliance Accreditation Commission and a committee member for the Lowcountry Community Foundation Loan Fund. He and his wife, Kathryn, have two children, William and Emma.

Adair Roark
Finance & Marketing Director
Adair was born and raised in Clinton, SC. After graduating from Clemson University in 2001, she began her career in manufacturing and most recently consulted with small to mid-size businesses in an outsourced CFO/Controller role. Adair has been active in many non-profits as both a volunteer and board member. Her passion is growing a community and all that encompasses.
Adair is married to Phil Roark, and they have two children, Chandler and Charlie.
